When you hit the road, make sure you always are ready for whatever may happen during your travels in a Ron Carter Chevrolet vehicle. An emergency preparedness kit can go a long way when you are stuck on the side of the road.

What to Include in an Emergency Kit

Your Houston Chevrolet has ample trunk space for an emergency kit so make sure you include:

Flashlights with extra batteries
Jumper cables (make sure they are 8-12 feet long)
Fuses appropriate for your Houston Chevrolet make and model
Tool kit (Phillips/flat-head screwdrivers, pliers, adjustable wrench)
Road flares
Electrical tape
Scissors/Knife
Emergency sign/White cloth (to be placed in the window of a broken down vehicle)
Snow shovel (depending on where you live/or are traveling)
Kitty litter (for traction in the snow and ice)
Car fluids (windshield fluid, motor oil, brake fluid, transmission fluid, water, antifreeze)

Canned food/Non-perishable foods
Can opener
Blankets
Extra clothing (socks, sweatshirt)
Gloves
Toilet paper
